Modular Homes NZ, from Single-Level to Two-Storey
Discover the Versatility of Prefabricated Modular Homes
A Leisurecom modular home is the same factory-built home as our transportable range, built under cover at our Cambridge factory and delivered to your section in one or more modules. Most of our modular homes are single-level three-bedroom, two-bathroom designs like the Sierra and Pauanui, between 124 and 132 m², and we also build bespoke two-storey homes, like the 275 m² two-storey home we delivered to Onemana. Every home sits on three rows of driven piles and comes with a guaranteed fixed price, delivered to the gate.
Is a modular home different from a transportable home?
At Leisurecom they're the same thing: a complete home built in our factory and trucked to your land, whichever name you searched for. The word modular tends to come up for larger homes that travel in more than one piece and are joined on site, like the 220 m² two-piece family home we delivered in Tauranga. Our builds run from compact 70 m² homes like the two-bedroom Seaview to big family homes like that one, and every one is finished in the factory before it leaves.
Our guide to transportable vs modular vs prefab explains how the names get used, and you can see our two-storey modular builds on the blog.
